sometimesz...
sometimes, the smallest things make a difference... for example, when you see a person out on the streets with a sign asking for money what do you do? do you give him or her money? what does that beggar do with that money? Like the city of Boston after hours... all the people sleeping on the grounds through the cold and the rain having only a plastic bag as their blankets... what do you do? do you take them all home offer them a job? no...you give them some money hoping that they would be smart and use that money to buy food to feed themselves and any family members. People don't choose to begg, butt sometimes they have no other choice...whether its because they came illegally into the country and has no relatives to be their baccbone, or has no way of going bacc to their homeland. Has anyone of you ever really did what kozol did? Talk to these people and find the reasons behind their issues? Sort of like littering... there are so many ways to help out like not littering, butt people still do it. Saving an animal's life by not eating meat/poultry... people still do it. Sometimesz when beggars are put into a nice home, a nice neighborhood and given a nice job, he or she wouldn't know how to deal with it and sometimesz he or she might throw it all away just to get bacc to his or her comfort zone... on the streets. So by the volunteers caring enough to go to a disease/poverty ridden community, that counts. It matters to those people. It shows there are still people that care. Yes, to others they might see as pretending to care, butt to those people in the community, they are given a chance to run their lives cleanly. Like say, your used to being in a home where you don't have to do anything: clean, cook, pay any bills, etc., you wouldn't want to leave. When you are on your own without the help that you are used to you wouldn't know how and where to start so you go bacc to your comfort zone... I don't know if thisz is making any sense, butt just know that sometimesz the smallest gestures mean the world to those that need it. Like not littering means alot to the environment. The smallest things do matter...
